Job Description :

The candidate for this position will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Examine accounting records, prepare financial statements and other financial reports of the company to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts and update regularly
• Develop, modify and keep records of accounting systems documents, making use of modern accounting software systems
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements
• Balance general ledgers, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, and reconcile bank statements
• Verify and post accounts payable, check disbursement, post accounts receivable invoices
• Record transfers and disposals of assets and prepare monthly depreciation reports
• Prepare payroll and maintain employee files on a bi-weekly basis
• Maintain and prepare all workers’ compensation files and reports

Basic Requirements and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of work experience, OR Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
• Profound understanding of financial markets, banking, analysis and reporting of financial data
• Experience in tax accounting, experience with QuickBooks is a plus

Technological Requirements:

Proficient in one or more of Accounting software and database:

• Language: SAP, SQL
• Related Software: QuickBooks, MS Project, MS Excel
• Database: MySQL/MSSQL, Oracle
• O/S: Windows 7 and 10, Windows 2008 Server
